Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
and Misc. Educational Information

Do I Need a Fishing License?

No, Capt. Mike has a blanket fishing license that covers himself, as well as his anglers! He's also fully insured - so no worries!

What Should I Bring?

Capt. Mike will provide all the bait and tackle that you will need, just bring anything you wish to eat. Capt. Mike also provides bottled water and ice.

It is recommended that you also bring sunscreen, a hat, snacks, non-marking shoes (no black soles please), polarized sunglasses (so that you may truly capture the full experience), and a camera.

*A small cooler may be necessary, depending on the type of trip you select - please ask the captain!

**Please dress accordingly… it can be cool on the water.

What Type of Fish Can I Expect to Catch?

Capt. Mike says that all depends on the type of trip that you select and the time of year in which you will be visiting/fishing?

Our trips are designed to target the “seasonal bite”, so be sure and discuss your preferences with the captain prior to booking.

Local favorites include: red snapper, grouper, cobia, amberjack, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, trout, redfish, triggerfish, flounder, and more...

Where Will We be Fishing?

Well, it all depends on the type of trip you select? But mostly, the St. Andrews bay system and inshore wrecks/reefs of our local gulf waters.

See you at the dock!!
